To spread the good idea from heidi and kindli - if you read this, please ask me 5 questions you would like to know my response to. (Ask anything at all!) I value honesty very highly in myself and others.
1) Are you teaching for the entire year, or just this semester?
2) How are the dancing lessons going? I would like to do that with you, if we lived anywhere's close to each other, but going alone out here in Boston seems like something I am reluctant to do, as well as not financially motivated to do if it were all alone.
3) Do you know how much I smiled, and my heart badumped when I saw the title of your last email? So cute!
4) Will you forgive me for not really making that last question a real question?
5) I have continued saving urtexts, but have stopped giving them because I guess they don't seem to make great gifts: crumpled up pieces of paper with drivel scribbled on them. Am I wrong or do you want to still not get them, as has been the case in the last few months?
I am a work in progress, as are all of us. The trick is to embrace the process, to delight in the growth, and to never be ashamed of where we have been. And, most of all, to dance through life.
